"I want to design a house that inspires me!" - I said to my sister in Madrid in a coffee conversation. Of course, being yolk lettuce (Portuguese expression), a normal habit is to find me at the cafe, wondering what I'm going to do with my life and thinking about a bunch plans at the same time (because yes, my head is a whirl, but whose isn't? ). Well, we are already straying from what it matters, as this post is intended to explain what this “O Lad’Lá” project means.
It all starts with a passion for interior design and an old family apartment, adjacent to the main house, called the “house next door” or more commonly called the “Lad’lá” by everyone. The house itself is old, more precisely from the year 1886. And since I can remember, the house has always been decorated in the same way, so, in a turn of events, I decided to renovate it.
Amid inspirations, mood boards, and budgets, and being an interior designer, I realized that in a pandemic time almost anything is possible to do online. Isn't it fantastic?
