This project explores the use of generative AI as a pre-production tool for visual storytelling, through the creation of a cinematic storyboard for the opening film of LAD-LA, a hidden fine-dining restaurant.
The narrative follows a woman entering a secret, almost forbidden space, unfolding as a sensory journey of light, movement and atmosphere. Each frame was designed as a key moment in a short film, emphasising mystery, intimacy and ritual through controlled camera angles, deep red lighting, shadows and tactile textures.
Artificial intelligence was used not only as an image generator, but as a collaborative tool in the creative process, from visual research and mood exploration to prompt iteration and consistency control across frames. Special attention was given to cinematographic composition, continuity, and the translation of abstract concepts into a coherent visual sequence.
This project focuses on storytelling, visual direction and process, demonstrating how AI can support concept development and pre-visualisation in contemporary motion design workflows.
